Our ground pollock is MSC-certified and responsibly sourced from well-managed fisheries in the Northeast Atlantic (FAO 27), a region recognized for its cold, nutrient-rich waters and strong fishery management standards. This area includes the waters around Norway, Iceland, and the broader North Sea, where pollock stocks are carefully monitored to ensure long-term sustainability. MSC certification confirms that the fish originates from independently audited fisheries that follow strict environmental and stock management requirements, helping to protect marine ecosystems and minimize bycatch.
The pollock is ground & frozen to preserve freshness, making it a high-quality ingredient for pet food applications. Full traceability is ensured in accordance with EU food safety standards, with strict temperature control maintained throughout processing to protect product integrity. Each batch undergoes comprehensive quality and safety controls, including advanced detection systems to ensure the absence of contaminants and foreign materials, delivering a safe, sustainable, and consistently high-quality ingredient.
